What if a floundering city girl decides it’s a good idea to purchase and train an awkward old horse?

Callann’s family led her to believe she’s never good enough because she doesn’t conform to the 9-5 American dream. She has an unstable job, student debt, and nothing close to a suburban house with family and kids.

Like a zombie on a carousel, she’s withdrawn into modeling, work, and meaningless partying even though she can’t kick a childhood love of horses hidden deep inside.

After twenty-five years of trying to fit someone else’s dream, Callann finally makes a decision for herself. She purchases Dalilama (Dolly), a quiet, withdrawn horse who’s spent fifteen years in a field alone. Never mind she has zero horse experience.

Together, they learn to trust each other through the trials and tribulations of training a riding horse. She gets more than what she bargained for as crises force Callann to admit her vulnerability, trust her intuition and speak up for Dolly and herself.

They both learn to embrace their softer sides as Dolly opens her person to the world of telepathic communication with animals. Callann finally becomes her own adult, releasing family trauma and integrating the hidden joys of her childhood to find happiness and profound love with another being.

Honed from working almost fifteen years as a professional business writer, I've parlayed my skills and expertise into my passion for highlighting stories of animal communication, the horse-human connection, and spiritual development.

What's mattered most to me is communicating in writing the heart's true desire.

Many clients have an idea of what they want to convey, and the vocabulary to articulate the thinking behind it.

My role has been to understand and elevate the importance of the topic, organize and structure it in words that connect with the audience and help them grasp both the large-scale vision and details.

Some of this is intuitive and much of it a result of hard work, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning and research.  After many years not believing I could produce content myself, I look forward to expanding this aspect of my life and business.

I'm so grateful to my clients and mentors throughout the years.
